Mo is a star. Cheerful. Good at his job. Super tidy (clean, waste in his own rubble bag, takes everything with him, in other words: as soon as he pulls the door shut behind him you really are completely done) and sticks to agreements 100%. Highly recommended!

- ABOUT THIS SERVICE
What counts as sanitary fittings?
Everything to do with taps, toilets and wet rooms. A tap that keeps dripping, a toilet that keeps running, a shower mixer that no longer gives hot water, or a basin that needs replacing. Individual jobs that are often done within an hour, but that cost you money and water in the meantime.
Small problems with sanitary fittings rarely get better by themselves. If you recognise one of these, it is usually a quick job:
- A tap that keeps dripping or drips after use
- No hot water, or hot water that comes and goes, from the mixer tap
- Damp under the basin or behind the toilet
- A toilet that keeps running after flushing
- A toilet seat or cistern that is loose
- A leaking drain or trap
A dripping tap costs more than you think
A tap that loses one drip per second easily wastes several thousand litres of water a year. Replacing a cartridge or a non-return valve is often a job of less than an hour and quickly pays for itself.
What is included?
- The labour of the tradesman who comes to you
- The tools we bring as standard
- Establishing the cause of the problem
- Checking for leaks after fitting
- An explanation of what we find and what we propose
- No call-out charge within Almere
- 1-year guarantee on the work carried out
Not included
- Taps, toilets and other sanitary fittings
- Tiling and repairs to walls after removal, unless agreed in advance

More than one tap or toilet
If it is about more than one tap or toilet, also consider bathroom and toilet renovation: we renew your bathroom or toilet in one go. If the toilet or basin does not drain properly, we can unblock the drain.
If a tap or pipe is leaking, we fix it straight away; see leaks and pipework. After a new toilet or shower, we finish the tiles and sealant neatly with tiling and wall panels. What a visit costs is shown on our prices page.
- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions about sanitary fittings
Is your question not listed? Feel free to call or WhatsApp us, also outside office hours.
How much does it cost to replace a tap?
We charge €181.44 incl. VAT (€149.95 excl. VAT) for the first hour on site; outside Almere, there is an added call-out charge of €42.35. Replacing a tap is usually done within an hour. According to Werkspot, replacing a tap nationally costs between €80 and €200 per job, excluding the tap itself.
Do I have to buy the tap or toilet myself?
That is up to you. If you buy it yourself, you only pay for labour. We can also help you choose a suitable type — send us a photo of the current set-up and we will tell you what fits.
Can I repair a dripping tap myself?
Sometimes, yes. It is often the cartridge or a worn non-return valve. If you cannot manage it, or you would rather not turn off the main stopcock yourself, give us a call — it is usually a quick job.
How long does it take to replace a toilet?
Replacing a floor-standing toilet usually takes one to two hours. A wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern can take longer, especially if the existing frame does not fit. Send us a photo and we will tell you in advance what we expect.
Do you also repair concealed cisterns?
Yes, as long as the access panel can be reached. If everything is closed up behind tiling, we first discuss with you how we will get to it and how we will finish it afterwards.
Will you come out for one small job?
Yes. We also come out for a single tap or a leaking toilet. You then pay the starting rate of €181.44 incl. VAT (€149.95 excl. VAT). That is the minimum per visit, even if the job only takes ten minutes; outside Almere, there is an added call-out charge of €42.35.
