Our work in Almere and the surrounding area
Below you can see jobs we have carried out ourselves — leaks, drain unblocking, roofing and pipework in Almere, Amsterdam and the surrounding towns. All the photos are of our own work. No stock images, no examples from someone else.
For each job we describe what the problem was, what we found and how we solved it. We mention the town, but of course not the address.
Feel free to send us a photo on WhatsApp first — that way we can often assess the problem straight away.

- LEAKS AND PIPEWORK
Leak in the wall traced and repaired
A leaking water pipe in the wall. The wall was only opened up at the spot of the leak, and the damaged section of pipe was replaced with new copper.
Leak marked
Find the spot first, and only then open up further.
- DRAIN UNBLOCKING AND SEWERS
Sewer pipe laid and paving put back
The front garden was dug up for a new sewer pipe along the front of the house. Once the pipe was laid, the paving bricks were put back.

- DRAIN UNBLOCKING AND SEWERS
Drain by the façade dug up and renewed
The ground along the façade was dug out down to the drain. The old pipe was lying in a pit full of water. There is now a new PVC drain, connected to the pipe coming out of the house.
- MAINTENANCE
Façade by the basement: from loose render to natural stone
The render was coming loose on both sides of a basement window. In both places we fitted a dark grey natural stone panel, neatly sealed with a white joint.
The render was coming loose and the reinforcing mesh was exposed. Now: a natural stone panel, sealed all round.
Loose render below a cracked windowsill. Now: the same natural stone and finish.
- BATHROOM, TOILET AND KITCHEN
Toilet with a mosaic strip and concrete-look walls
The pink walls and old wall tiles made way for concrete-look walls with a vertical strip of mosaic. Finished with a black toilet, a black cloakroom basin and gold-coloured accessories.
Mosaic tiling
The strip is kept straight with tile levelling clips.
Black toilet
Mosaic strip, concrete look and a pendant light.
