- FILMWIJK
What we come across in Filmwijk
Most of Filmwijk was completed between 1992 and 1996. It started in 1992 with the BouwRAI building exhibition "Grensverleggend Bouwen", with 38 experimental projects and 588 homes; before that, the area was planned as the Olympic village for the Games that Amsterdam did not get. The streets are named after film stars and directors, such as the Fellinilaan, the Buñuellaan and the Greta Garboplantsoen.
Because the heat here comes from the district heating network, our work in Filmwijk is mostly about radiators, pipes, drains and bathrooms.
Is the house not getting warm? First check whether the problem is at the heat unit in the meter cupboard: report a fault in the heat network or the heat unit to Vattenfall (0800 0513). Radiators, thermostatic valves and pipes in your home are part of your own installation, and we can help with those.
