Can wall panels go over the old tiles?
Usually, yes, provided the old tiles are flat and firmly fixed. That saves demolition, dust and time. We check the surface first. We remove loose or hollow tiles beforehand.
Are wall panels as waterproof as tiles?
Yes. Good bathroom panels are waterproof and have no grout lines for water or dirt to soak into. We finish seams and corners with sealant or with trims. That keeps the panels easy to clean.
How long does it take to tile a bathroom?
For an average bathroom, allow a few days, including the drying time of the waterproofing and the adhesive. With wall panels it is quicker: a shower wall is often done in a day.
Can I have just the grout renewed?
Yes. If the tiles are still in good condition but the grout is dirty or crumbling, we grind out the old grout and regrout. That costs much less than retiling.
Do I have to buy the tiles myself?
That is your choice. If you buy the tiles yourself, you only pay us for the labour. Give us the size and quantity in advance and we will check whether it is enough, including cutting waste.
